The Director of Marketing will work closely with the VP of Marketing to help reach aggressive user acquisition and retention goals. In order to help reach these goals, the Director of Marketing will be charged with developing and managing guerilla marketing activities, as well as promotions and events with business partners. More specifically:
The guerilla marketing activities will be directed at our target market and will require think-outside-the-box and shoestring-budget ideas to raise awareness and use of our client product. The guerilla marketing campaigns may require creative collateral and communication programs which will also be managed by the Director of Marketing. It will also be critical that this candidate can analyze the success of each campaign and make recommendations on how to improve and scale going forward.
This candidate will also be responsible for seizing and managing relationships with strategic business partners to increase awareness, usage and buzz around our client"s product with our core demographic. This will require the ability to work with large brand name companies to do on and offline activities and promotions to reach mutually beneficial business goals.
It is critical that this candidate is goal-oriented, passionate about building a business and passionate about the future of mobile. It is also essential that this candidate is not only a strategic and analytical thinker, but also energetic, flexible and very creative.
Relevant marketing experience and strong references are essential. MBA preferred.
